Both Sharon & Duncan live just outside London but decided Galway was where they were to get married as Sharon is originally from the area and also went to the university here too. I love going to the NUIG Chapel in Galway and because of its size, it is such an intimate location. Also, with the amazing amount of natural light in there, is just brilliant  for us photographers.

And to be a little different from most weddings. The groom has his sister as the best (wo)man!!

One thing about an Irish wedding is when you have amazing weather in conjunction with a truly stunning location like Connemara on the West of Ireland, you simply can not go wrong. These few amazing days we get each year really do make living here sooooo worth it. I was really excited about this day as I knew we would get some amazing shots with a couple of the locations that were in mind.

Here is my very first shot of the day and the view is from the front lawn of the Rosleague Manor Hotel in Letterfrack. What amazing scenery to wake up to in the morning and to enjoy whilst sipping your coffee/tea and nibbling on a pastry.

The dashing groom and his Best Man

Beautifully kept 1950′s Bentley and the engine still sounds sooo sweet, even today.

The expression on Siobhan’s face is priceless and it really did set the tone for the rest of the day.

Siobhan and Jim had their dog Buddy with them who was part of the celebrations when everyone returned to Rosleague Manor Hotel later in the day.

And last but not least a shot of the lovely couple together. I hope you enjoyed looking at these images as much as I took them.

A little while back I posted a sneak preview of Maria & Keith’s wedding but have now put together a bigger compilation of images for you to enjoy.

In a typical Galway day of starting a bit overcast it soon developed into something more interesting with sunshine. The typical morning chaos at the bride preparation slowly developed into something very organised as the make-up and hair was finished and the girls getting their stunning outfits.

St Mary’s Church is a very popular spot with beautiful details inside and the lighting, from a photographers point of view, is perfect as not too harsh creating lovely soft tones.

Boy oh boy, you have just got to love the dress by Ian Stuart, a real stunner indeed

I love love catching these little moments like this. Nothing is said, just a glance, a smile, a gentle squeeze of the hand – beautiful!!

The drive up to Dublin on the morning of the wedding was without any issues but in typical Irish fashion the weather could not decide whether to play ball or not with a few drops of rain. We had a small shower when I went out to take some pictures of the 1928′s Brenchley Convertible which was used to ferry Anne Marie and her dad to the church but to be honest it did not dampen anyone’s spirits.

I would also like to thank the talented Christine for helping me out on the day. Thanks Christine, you are the best!!!!!!
